This exhibition's title takes as its source the familiar term "nature vs. nurture". The artists' work is a response to the premise that our depictions of nature and thus our relationship to it are a response to and modified by our collective socio-cultural system.

The art on display often confounds our traditional notions of display methodology with work being projected on screens, drawing as sculpture, gaggles of crows and cows, botanical studies in lipstick and boxes as landscape.
