An exhibition featuring works of Deborah Fisher and Lisa Mordhorst.

Announcing an exhibition of new and existing work by Deborah Fisher and Lisa Mordhorst. These two Brooklyn, NY artists create environments and architectural structures within the dark walls of Area 405.

Fisher's work draws from an earnest concern for climate change and the depletion of our natural resource. Her sculptures relate the disconnect between detritus and where it all goes when we're done with it.

Mordhorst's photographs and architectural structures portray a dislocated view of space and landscape by employing contradictory sensations of nostalgia, disorientation and familiarity, the generic versus specific, place and non-place, man made versus the natural.

Area 405 is located at 405 East Oliver Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.

Regular galley hours are Sundays noon-3pm and by appointment.
