Founded by You Liang and Zao Zao Zhang (MICA Class of 2024), the project began with a writing workshop that encouraged participants to transform poetry, prose, and diary entries into visual forms. The wishing fountain project
The Wishing Fountain Project is a nomadic space born from and dedicated to the hopes of queer communities across East and Southeast Asia. This “fountain” springs from the vision of Zao Zao Zhang and You Liang: to gather, protect, and nurture the artistic expressions of queer creators. The Wishing Fountain Project creates, collects, and showcases a wide variety of queer art books, encompassing photography, illustration, poetry, personal stories, research, and more.
The club car
The Club Car is a queer-owned entertainment, event space, art gallery and Cocktail bar.
